During your flight to London’s Stansted Airport you’ll want to remember some health tips. Not everyone is affected by air travel the same way but it’s best to be safe.

To make your flight more comfortable you may want to drink plenty of water and juice. You could get dehydrated quickly because the air in the plane is drier than ground air. You may feel bad or become ill if you don’t stay hydrated during your flight. If you have dry or sensitive skin use lotion.

If you’ve ever had motion sickness the chances are you’ll be affected by this while you’re flying as well. If you have nervousness disorders your motion sickness could get worse during the flight. Avoid caffeinated products and alcohol the day of your flight if you have motion sickness. Ask your doctor if you will need medications for the flight and try to relax. Try to sit in a seat over a wing and get a window seat.

If you start feeling ill during your flight talk to a flight attendant so they can help you out and be aware of your condition. You may want to chew gum or listen to music through headphones. Read a book, do cross word puzzles, or write a letter to a friend. Remember to walk a little so your legs don’t cramp up.

Once you’ve arrived at the airport don’t pick up your Stansted car rental right away. Walk a little and stretch if your flight was long. Get something healthy to drink and maybe a light meal. Enjoy your flight and be healthy.
